A villian made for a Nolan film! It's a match made in heaven. Modern story for a modern storyteller. Is no one suggesting this yet? Also...come on! Happy endings? Not for batsy. Everyone he knows is hurt or dies eventually. He's fighting a war. He'll win in the end, but he'll have the scars to show it - and boy do the troops suffer.
