On today’s episode of the Indie Show, hosts David and Scott speak with two independent comic book creators that still consider themselves ‘fanboys.’  Up first is Sina Grace who lets us in on his observative and charming comic, Books with Pictures, which is a fictional tale set in the very real ‘Hi DeHo Comic Shop’ in Santa Monica.  Then, Tony Fleecs joins the show to chat about his work, In My Lifetime which is a hilarious, original auto-bio and is a must-read, quite frankly.  Let us know what you think about the interviews and the new bed music by Tim Drennon.

David and Scott host a massive kid-friendly comics in this month’s Indie Show.  Alexa Kitchen is a budding children’s cartoonist and graphic novel storyteller.  She’s been creating comics and comic books since the age of five.  This past year, she released Drawing Comics Is Easy (Except When It’s Hard). Dave Roman is the acclaimed creator of Jax Epoch and the Quicken Forbidden and Teen Boat.  His web comic Astronaut Elementary is featured in ‘Lunchbox Funnies.’  Dave is also an associate editor at Nickelodeon Magazine. Dean Trippe is one of the masterminds behind ‘Lunchbox Funnies’ with his web comic Butterfly and the super hero fashion site Project Rooftop. His work also appears in AdHouse Books’ Superior Showcase #1.  Add a quick couple of Indie-related event announcement and it’s one jam-packed show.
